Rates
Because I work with a non-profit Center, I am able to offer some flexibility in rates, depending on your income and the availability of Center scholarship funds to help cover the costs. The standard hourly rate is $145 for the 40-50 minute session with charitable discounts that may help reduce your cost to $62 for a 40-50 minute session. Some clients request longer sessions, which are also available.

Insurance
Although I cannot file your insurance claim for you, my services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

• Do I have mental health benefits?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
• How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Payment
Cash, check and major credit cards are accepted for payment (except Amex).

Cancellation Policy
Unlike a standard doctors' office where many patients are seen within an hour and appointments can be overbooked to handle cancellations, the appointment that you schedule reserves my entire time exclusively for you. If you cannot keep your scheduled appointment, you will need to notify us at least 24 hours in advance or pay for the time that was reserved for you. However, if you miss the 24 hour notice, please let us know: if we can fill your slot at the last minute, we will waive your fee.
