About Me

 

David Harris is currently in the final process of becoming a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (see below) specializing in individual psychotherapy, career coaching, and personal growth. He maintains a private practice in Atlanta, GA. 

With over 20 years of successful experience business management, he is also a graduate of Mercer University specializing in Career Counseling. Among his areas of special interest are working with people facing life choices: possibly a transition stage at work or dealing with depression or mood swings.

David is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist, building on a client’s special gifts and strengths. His treatment approach provides both support and practical feedback to help clients overcome current challenges or long-standing patterns. He incorporates a combination of both traditional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of methods towards what will be most helpful for each individual client.

David has presented at local and state conferences and to general audiences on topics ranging from career transitions to cybercounseling to applying new developments in neuroscience.
